Privacy Policy
Tomas Rewinds Director (“Director”) is a privately operated video publishing and analytics application used to manage the Tomas Rewinds historical-video channel. Questions or deletion requests can be sent to tomasrewinds@gmail.com.
1. Google and YouTube information used
Director uses YouTube API Services with the account owner's permission. Depending on the granted scopes and tasks, the Director may access the identity of the authorized YouTube channel, video IDs, titles, descriptions, publication status and times, upload information, and video-performance metrics such as views, likes, and comments. OAuth access and refresh credentials may be stored to maintain the authorized connection. Director does not request or store Google passwords.
2. Why the information is used
The information is used to prepare and upload approved videos, schedule publication, avoid duplicate submissions, verify publication status, and display performance analytics to the authorized channel operator. We do not use this information to build advertising profiles or sell it.
3. Where information is stored and shared
Director operates on infrastructure administered by the channel owner and stores operational records and authorization credentials necessary for the connected services. Authorized requests transmit appropriate video and account information to Google/YouTube. Where separate platforms are enabled, the Director may transmit approved video content and metadata to authorized publishing providers such as Postiz or Buffer; those services are governed by their own policies. This public informational website is separate from the private Director application.
4. Retention and deletion
Operational records are retained while they are needed to manage the authorized channel, maintain a reliable submission history, or comply with applicable requirements. A user can request deletion of their stored Google/YouTube authorized data by emailing tomasrewinds@gmail.com. Following a valid revocation or deletion request, the operator will remove affected authorized data within the period required by the YouTube API Services policies, subject to legally required retention. Channel videos already published to YouTube must be managed through YouTube Studio unless separately deleted.
5. Revoking access
You can revoke the Director's Google authorization through your Google Account's third-party access settings or Google security permissions. Revoking authorization stops future permitted API access, subject to the time needed to process revocation and delete affected stored data.
6. Cookies and tracking on this site
These informational pages do not include custom advertising pixels, analytics scripts, account login forms, or browser storage scripts. The hosting provider may process routine network request and security logs in order to serve and protect the site.
7. Third-party policies
The use of YouTube API Services is subject to the YouTube Terms of Service. See also the Google Privacy Policy. Other connected services may have separate terms and policies.
